Tool/Pencil Case. Width of these bags is generally approx. 22cm at the widest point, depth is approx. 7cm and height is approx. 10cm.
Design is Save the Willow. Inspired by the effects of climate change on the Scottish alpine plant, the woolly willow (Salix lanata). Please note that 10% of the sale price of this bag will be donated to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, to help fund their research into the effects of climate change and the shifting patterns in land use upon native plants.
Outer fabric has been machine knit using Shetland wool from Jamison’s of Shetland. The fabric has then been washed using Ecover "Delicate Laundry Liquid" to remove the machine oil. Hand embroidery has enhanced the design, using Orkney DK wool from Be Inspired Fibres in Edinburgh. Lining & handle fabric from Scottish Linen, Kirkcaldy, Fife. For care instructions, please refer to label on bag.
All photographs are unedited. For further information on yarn colours, please refer to Jamieson’s of Shetland website, at www.jamiesonsofshetland.co.uk/
Please note that the photos are for illustrative purposes, though the bags are very similar and have the same lining fabric.
