Scots Pine iPad Mini Sleeve Knitting Pattern - PAPER COPY
This pattern is suitable as a sleeve for an iPad Mini or a Samsung Tab. It is knit in the round using either double pointed needles (DPNs) or the Magic Loop technique. Both 2.5mm and 2.75mm sizes are required. The sleeve is knitted in one piece similar to a long cowl. The inner single-colour section is knitted first, followed by a picot fold line, and then the outer colourwork section.
You will need 3 x 25g balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift wool: 1 ball for the Scots Pine trees and 2 balls for the background. Others 4-ply yarns could be substituted; just check your gauge.
Techniques needed to knit this project include: colourwork in two colours; knitting using the Magic Loop technique or DPNs; Judy’s Magic Cast On; working a “yarn over”; and casting off by grafting using Kitchener Stitch.
Purchase provides you with a paper copy enclosed in a biodegradable clear protective sleeve. Will be posted to you on receipt of payment.
